Historical Development of Technology Integration
Hello everyone! This post is about the
historical development of computer-assisted language learning(CALL). Let’s see this
development briefly:
I hope you like my post and enjoy it.
- In the 1960s and 1970s, CALL consisted of drill-and-practice programs with the impact of behaviorist views.
- 1980s referred to learner interaction and programs mainly required communicative use of language.
- In early 1990s, the computer was stimulus and learners became active in learning process.
- Today, one of the major points is impoving students’ skills by integrating technology to enhance learning.
In the timeline, I’ve showed some major points
of technology development.
I hope you like my post and enjoy it.
Love, Rana.
